Subject: REFERENCE for THE COMPANY Silfor


INTRODUCTION

The company Silfor performed an application of hydrated lime for our company on the water tank Obecnice and Pilská near Příbram. A total of 3 t of hydrate was mixed into the water during two days on the 2. and 3. May, 2001 in Obecnice and 12 t in Pilska using specially adapted boats.

The whole event was monitored by pH and conductivity mesurements; analyzes of water from reservoirs were carried out several days after in our company laboratory.

RESULTS

During the process of lime application it was proven, that the employees of the company Vodní květ were able to respond to the specifics of the current situation flexibly and the patented technology used by Silfor was, after minor modification, also suitable for dispensing bulk material in relatively large quantities.

Field measurements and subsequent water analysis showed that hydrated lime was applied evenly across the tank, significant fluctuations in the quality of water were not observed across the surface of the water tank, not even immediately after dosing. Excellent handling of the vessels allowed application in relatively narrow bays. Mixing of the dispensed substance in the water column was very good up to the thermal interface .

Dosing of aluminum sulphate was tested as part of the experiment, and yielded very good results , confirming the suitability of the technology and application of the chemical substance.

CONCLUSION

The technology SILFOR, used by the company Vodní květ, is in our opinion very suitable for sensitive dosage of concentrated and diluted chemicals and also the application of bulk materials on the water surface .
